2013 Festival Information

The 4th annual Uncle Sam Jam has become part of the Downriver Communities’ Independence  Day Holiday Celebration.  This event is held Thursday, July 11 through Sunday, July 14th and will take place in Civic Center Park in the City of Woodhaven, near 1-75 and West Rd.

The Uncle Sam Jam brings family fun to Woodhaven with Friday night fireworks, Saturday night Laser Show, carnival rides and games, interactive displays and attractions, petting zoo and pony rides and FREE concerts all weekend long!

There is NO ADMISSION CHARGE to the event!

 Festival Hours

THURSDAY 2 PM – 10 PM

FRIDAY 2 PM – 12 AM

SATURDAY 12 PM - 12 AM

SUNDAY 12 PM – 11 PM

  Event Rules

NO outside food, beverages, pets, bikes, scooters, roller blades, skateboards, video cameras, or weapons allowed on festival grounds.  

You may bring blankets, umbrellas, lawn chairs, infant carriers and strollers.

Absolutely NO solicitation or distribution of materials without a permit.

 Camera Policy

Simple point and shoot cameras are allowed.

Music Stages – NO Professional or High End Prosumer cameras are allowed in the Music Performance Areas. This includes cameras with interchangeable lenses, or zoom lenses exceeding 4x.  Festival staff has the right to make determination of cameras on site.

NO VIDEO CAMERAS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED.

Simple Point and Shoot Cameras are allowed EVERYWHERE on the grounds.
